First few $200 Commission Days on Amazon
Well I've been busy lately, but I thought I'd take a moment to stop and celebrate some of my recent successes. I started out advertising products via UK Amazon, however, there's a £7 cap on commissions per item, so I started using the US Amazon associates instead.
Within a few months of hard work, I'm now starting to see $2500 - $3000+ daily sales, which at 6.5% commission translates to $150 - $200 in commission. Of course some days are better than others, however, everything is on an upward trend and I'm very grateful to see things finally paying off.
So for any of the newbies out there, it is possible to make money online (and relatively quickly). However, like anything else worth achieving in life, it takes persistence and consistency. And even though there are probably 1000 better ways of making money online than with Amazon, even a sub-optimal approach can yield results if you stick with it and don't hop from one "next best thing" to another.
I'm going to be creating a full step-by-step system in the near future which I will be sharing for free, you're welcome to learn from the 1000 mistakes I've made! If people can nag me to get it done, maybe that will motivate me to stop dragging my heels with it :-P

Today was supposed to be my first $250 dollar day, but some of the high ticket items haven't been dispatched on time (you only see commissions earned when the items are dispatched). However, $112 still isn't bad. I hope pictures like these motivate people to really take action!

Hay i'm just started my lessons here, but i have a quetion about how can i recieve money in Bulgaria: cash, cheks or other way. And are Amazon com working with Pay Pal?
Hey there. If you're outside of the US, Amazon send payments via check. Unfortunately, they don't use paypal at the moment, although that would be very handy! I don't know whether Bulgaria is one of the countries they send money to, although I'm sure it will tell you on the associate account signup.
That is very encouraging news! I have signed up as an Amazon affiliate although I think the account is still pending. I was unaware of any caps - how do I find out if I have signed up for the wrong product - I will eventually have several sites one specifically marketed to the UK the others will be and international audience.
There's only caps on UK products. Basically, regardless of the item cost, the maximum commission is £7. There's no restriction on any other Amazon country (only the UK). I think it runs along the ethos that people from the UK are happy to bend over and never do anything. The UK tier system sucks compared to the US as-well.
