The day is so clear and bright. There is a gentle breeze and the water in the canal at the back of our home looked like glass. I love the "in between" seasons. On the Gold Coast the summer humidity has evaporated, the nights are cool and the days still warm.

This morning James (husband) and I headed down to Currumbin Alley with our stand up paddle boards. The water was so luminous. The horizon seemed forever away.

Today is a school day so we didn't have to share the beach with many people. We spent a happy hour or so just happily paddling around and periodically diving into the water to feel that fresh skin grabbing sensation that you feel when the cool sea wraps itself around a sun warmed body.

This is why we are doing WA. This is a sneak peak, a treat view into our future.

Now . . . on with doing what is required to make this lifestyle our everyday reality.
