Newbie Blog Post
There is so much to learn at WA. And I am definitely still learning. But that's not a problem for me because I love learning new things. At WA, I feel like I'm in Seventh Heaven, because there is so much to learn.
It's almost like listening to music. If you love what you're listening to, you can just immerse yourself in it and be ecstatic. That's kind of how I feel about WA so far.
It can be a little overwhelming, because there is so much. You almost don't know what to do next. There are so many classes to take, and sometimes, when you're working your way through one of them, there is a link to some additional information that can take you off on a tangent. But all of it is valuable, so you really can't go wrong.
Then when you go Premium, there is even more content to read. There are bonus posts by the experts, and on and on. If you ask me, Premium is worth it, and I am barely getting started. You think you have a lot to study in the starter course, but it's amazing how much more there is to learn in Premium.
And don't even get me started on the Live Chats, and the weekly WAbinars. Because I haven't had the time to get around to doing those yet. But I'm excited about them and can't wait to check them out. Not sure about the activity dashboard either.
I am still so new, I really don't know what's the correct way to proceed. But I am starting to come up with some strategies. For example, it appears that your ranking is based partly on how much activity you generate on the website. How many followers do you have, how many are following you, and are people liking your comments? Aha! Lightbulb! For people to like your comments, you have to be writing some comments.
So I have been trying to follow as many people as possible. Fortunately, that is easy to do at WA. But I also try to comment on as many posts as possible. When I follow someone, I try to go to their profile and read what they have to say, and maybe give a comment. I try to like as many comments as possible, and to comment on comments. I also try to keep my notifications cleaned out.
So how are you doing? Care to comment?

IMN Everybody here has THEIR comfort level. You have to find yours. For me I never have really been with the blogging and online concept of business. I read a lot of blogs and comment on them now so that I would get used to being involved with the process. I want to be comfortable with the evolution of what I am learning to do. With that said I am not in any rush and there's no pressure. Find your comfort level and follow it. You will never be disappointed that way. The fortunate thing here is it's not a race cause EVERYONE who crosses the finish line wins.
You'll have to allocate time for training, reading blogs/posts and working on your site otherwise you'll get sidetracked on one thing while the others suffer. It usually happens to me with blogs/posts. While I learn a lot from them, I know that my site is where I'll make money. Just a warning.......... LOL.
So easy to get distracted. I hope I remember to come back and read these comments every once in awhile to remind myself...
Thanks!
As you get further into this and follow more people and more people follow you, it will be easy to read blogs and answer the comments for a good portion of the day. I have been at WA for 2 months and am only on course three. I try to do at least one thing on the current lesson every day. I allocate some time for reading and answering emails but the bulk of my time is tweaking web site to get it as close to perfect as possible and to write posts.
Yes, I am not in a rush, so no real pressure to get my website done. That may not be a good thing. Just trying to sort it out. I so appreciate your comment and all the great comments here. Thanks.
Be careful of information overload. Be sure to take breaks. Stay focused it can be easy to get sidetracked. most of all be patient and you will succeed. I am still a newbie without WA I would have quit already.
More good advice. Breaks. Take breaks. Sometimes I forget, and hours later I realize I haven't moved. Thanks!
Hi Judy - There is no 'correct' way to proceed. Each of us just go forward in the best way we can. And I should worry too much about the ranking or how much you have commented. Your priority is to continue to follow the training and build a successful site. Look forward to meeting you in the Live Chat if you have the time. :) Beverley
Thanks Beverley. I stopped by the Live Chat for a little while yesterday, but I couldn't really figure out what was going on. I will try again. Thanks.

It's great that you are learning a lot here, and that's what you should be concentrating on, before worrying about your ranking here. That won't help your business, developing your website will.
That being said, hanging out here, and exchanging ideas is not only useful, but fun too
I know you are right about focusing on the website, and I do get distracted by the community - it is fun! Good comments here.
