Harry Potter Inspires Wealthy Affiliates

Did you know that J.K. Rowling’s first Harry Potter book was rejected by 12 different publishers before it was finally accepted by one? I am so glad she didn’t give up. My grandchildren are so glad she didn’t give up. As soon as they were old enough to appreciate Harry, we blew through all seven of the books in one semester. What fun it was to enjoy them all over again with the kids! (I had already read them all the minute they came out.)

How sad it would be if J.K. Rowling had become discouraged and decided that her book was no good. What if she had given up and never completed the series? My world would be sadder for sure.

That is why we must “keep on keeping on” with our websites and never give up. Sure we get discouraged from time to time. J.K. Rowling must have been discouraged after receiving that 12th rejection letter, but somehow she managed to send out her manuscript one more time.

If you are new to building websites, it can be especially challenging. I sometimes find myself going back to the early lessons and reviewing them all over again...and again. I don’t always get it right the first time. But I am committed, and thanks to all the great support we get here at WA, I believe I can succeed. I have received some amazing heIp from some amazing people here - people I’ve never met who don’t know me from Adam - but kind, generous, and knowledgeable people. I am passionate about my website, and I have come to believe that I can overcome the challenges.
