How do I create a Product to be an Affiliate Marketer?

Hi! It's been a while since I have blogged here at WA.

And, I cannot believe that this coming year, 2024 will be one DECADE here at WA!

That is insane. That is awesome.

This article is to give myself and others some context to what has brought me this far.

Everything I have learned about being online I have learned in one way or another, from WA.

I haven't even started putting in the real efforts towards affiliate marketing, and yet I have made income one way or another, again, because of everything I have learned here.

When I first started, a lot of people were looking for everything to be free, and those same people had the same questions over and over, how long before I make money.

And, I believe, most of us here at WA, know the answer. You reap what you sow, your success will depend on your commitment, your time and the work you put into it.

And, nothing, is overnight.

I knew right away that nothing is overnight, I believed this was the place to be to learn the right way...the proof is right in front of us every time we log in. Success, follow the steps and it is not possible to fail. Trial and error, make mistakes, follow the steps and you will succeed.

Quite a lot has changed, success over night is almost possible depending on the context and the achievement, but yes, you could go viral tomorrow and at least for a few hours, the whole world might be talking about you, at least in your circles and your industry. Where it takes you is the question.

The other thing that has changed and I find this truly amazing you don't really need any money, again depending on how you look at.

I am guessing it is safe to say that most people who have jobs, looking for side hustles have internet at home. That is like daily living expenses.

Then you can start debating whether or not you should start sacrificing luxuries in your life so you can pay for tools, or courses, or programs, or systems. Or a startup, or be an Entrepreneur or in general want to open a business.

It costs money to make money. At least it did.

When I first got here to WA, the first niche site I created was called makemoneywithnomoney. It was really a challenge creating a logo let me tell you!

I was the do it for free guy, even signing up here was a major major leap for me.

I was convinced that the way to go was appealing to people you could do everything free and still make money. Probably still can in certain ways, I am sure free blogging sites and affiliate links are everywhere. If a person drives enough traffic right? But in the end, is the investment of time needed to compensate for exposure and the value of tools and software really worth it? No, and that's why to make real money, you have to spend real money.

At the heart of affiliate marketing is the idea that all you have to do is promote a product you believe in. That product could be anything, digital, physical, a membership, anything. You are compensated if you connect the buyer and the customer.

Traditionally, a link. It is that simple.

The next step, if I understand things is creating the product yourself and that is where all of this get's very interesting. At least to me.

A physical product is easy, just need the money to create it and learn how to build my online network and promote it. Find other affiliate marketers to connect me to my customers.

A digital product sounds complicated to me unless we are talking about a book. Knowledge, I write my information down and promote it again and customers buy it to learn from me.

In the world of Affiliate Marketing this is where funnels, opt ins, and email lists have to happen.

You draw traffic to a funnel, or optin, or your website. All 3 of those things are the same thing depending on how you look at. How much information and what you are trying to accomplish is the question. A funnel or optin is usually quick and to the point to get an email from the customer.

Usually by offering something of value for free. Something to do with your product and useful to the possible customer.

If they sign up, you now have a deposit of interest and permission to ask them to buy your product in emails you will send them.

Your product could be to sign up to an affiliate marketing program. You just have to convince them. Usually the funnels and optins are for something digital. Quick and to the point.

A website, still great for affiliate marketing, but more so to ship a physical product.

Now I hope I haven't lost you here. All of these different things usually have expenses in one way shape or another.

And the point I am making and learning about is, things have changed so much that you can literally make money with no money!!

And now I am going to explain exactly how.

A digital product can be your knowledge on anything, and I am still learning how to do that.

But what I am diving into because I really enjoy it is low content public domain digital PDF's to publish and SELL on Amazon!

If you have internet, you can literally create a colouring book, a journal, a planner, a log book, a budget guide...

To be honest the possibilities are endless.

And it is all free. It is considered low content by Amazon, and Public Domain so anybody can create a generic design and publish it for sale. A copyright is still applied by Amazon to print because you have to create the product by certain guidelines, making it unique. Something created, by you. It is that simple.

What is even more fascinating is you don't even have to create anything yourself any more. You can take one single template, which is a completed design by a professional designer, and turn it into a digital product to sell. Again it is all free!!

Anybody can literally create and publish a Digital Planner in less than an hour...

What is even more fascinating is the potential earnings...from what I have seen up to $5k a month is possible. And I believe that.

That's a lot of publishing and consistency, but I believe it's possible. Not bad considering it doesn't cost anybody anything to create them.
