Two domain names were put in my cart, the second one was a mistake. Contacted live chat to remove the unwanted one but no response. I had to go and purchase another domain name
Did you contact SiteSupport at https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support Idowu my Friend?

I went to check my domain server status this morning and saw “canceled - invalid EPP/autorisation key - contact current registrar to obtain correct key”. But I was
If the Name Servers are already pointed to WA, then you can go to SiteDomains and enter your Domain Name in to the Other section. You will then be able to build your website on this domain name, or move one from SiteRubix to this one.
After 60 days have passed (guessing you have only just registered this domain name), you can click on Transfer next to your Domain Name in SiteDomains, and enter the New EPP code provided by Name Cheap.
Hope this helps,
Chrystopher
Just to clarify, Name Servers and Registrar are two different things.
Registrar (Namecheap / WA) is who controls the Domain Name, and who you pay your annual fees to.
Name Servers tell your visitors which server(s) your website is located on.
Registrar and Name Servers can be two different companies.
Please see the screenshot attached
By the sounds of it, you have completed Step 1 already
Step 2 is where you're at now, to add the Domain Name to WA's Servers
After 60 Days, you can obtain the New EPP Code from Namecheap and go to Step 3, where you can enter the code to complete the Transfer.
If however Namecheap charge less than $14 per year for a dot com, then I wouldn't worry about Transferring your domain name to WA. It will continue to work just fine as it is.
Thank you all for your contributions. It's now that i understand i can move on in my site building without the domain name transfer first. You've saved me from unnecessary waiting for the transfer.
Blessings to you all.
I even paid another 14 pounds to WA for domain name transfer for what i just bought from Namecheap in under two weeks. I didn"t know why this should be so, may be i was required to do this as condition for domain transfer.
A domain Transfer is usually the same cost as a years renewal fee, and the 1 year will be added on to the end. However, as the Transfer failed, you should get a refund for this. You can message SiteSupport, Kyle or Carson to follow the refund up.
You can build your website on a free Siterubix domain. When your domain has finally moved to WA you can simply move your website to your own domain. Don’t get discouraged. Keep building. I followed the same process too.
Best wishes.
Jane
