Here’s an update of my blogging activities during the past few months. I started with one or two websites; took a break from them and started working on my Youtube channels. Currently they are all taking off steadily. In the interim I learnt a lot of new things and also revised some, by going over the lessons here.

I've had the experience of buying tools and resources I never used; so I’m currently using free tools till I’m sure they can’t serve my purpose. The benefit of this is that I can recommend such tools to the second audience in my niche.

My main audience is a group of people who would like to learn to work online. They fall into three sub categories of people willing to learn, are passionate and would devote their time to it. and would also

  1. invest in training, tools, hosting and ads;
  2. use social media for their niche if operating on a budget;
  3. use both free and paid methods.

I've realised that when you gain a rhythm of knowing what to do and when to do it, coupled with learning new things, there’s no need to be rushed. Provided what needs to be done gets done.

Currently I do most things by myself. Of course, I will still recommend all types of earning online to my students and leave them free to decide for themselves. I want to believe that some of them will even move faster than I in some respects.

Developing a website business can progress at a certain pace which increases as one gains experience and knowledge with practice. I’m sure most students will go for other options and come back to learn the fundamentals

I’ve also previously joined some paid platforms and undertaken some paid courses. Some focus on email marketing, funnel creation, webinars, and sale of high ticket products, use of ads for conversions etc. All of these can come in handy when one is ready for them.

Sometimes we follow through what others are doing and learn from them without getting involved. The same thing happens when we teach others. There may be no feedback till followers are ready to really take action. You’ll agree with me that this business has several parts. Namely setting up the website, having a niche, adding content and images etc. and this goes with a number of skills to learn. I want to believe most people and those in full time employment especially, will take their time and try their hands on it in their spare time. It’s ok because it is easier to move forward with assurance when the fundamental concepts are already understood.

Those with a traditional education mindset will want a study, finish, graduate kind of venture. I doubt you can have that with online marketing where modifications are made all the time.

Taking little steps shows you are on the right path.

Hi Israel. How's it going? Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Hi Irene. Nice post. You have your target audience and your niche. This is great , you are right, learning and implementing is the best. Thanks for sharing . LadyD2.

thanks LadyD2

That is a fantastic approach, Irene. To know your audience is a key factor to being successful!

I had not considered branching into more than one focus, instead I did the either/or category.

Your options have provided me with a wider focus to address on my affiliate marketing website.

Rudy

Glad you like my approach Rudy. An either/or category is also a good idea.

Thanks, Irene.
