Tool for Managing Open Tabs on Browser
Hi Peeps,
If you often have lots of tabs opened on your pc, one tool I find useful for handling open tabs is called One Tab - a chrome and firefox extension.
One Tab arranges tabs into a list which is then saved on a separate web page on your pc. An icon is available for restoring the tabs is pinned to your browser. Tabs can be restored individually or all at once when those sites are needed again.
How to instal one tab
- go to chrome web store
- search for One Tab
- instal and activate
- One Tab Icon is installed on right side of browser
- ease of use -- hold ctrl or cmd key on pc to restore tabs quickly or to restore commonly used tabs
Benefits
One Tab has the following benefits
- saves 95% memory of your pc
- cpu load is reduced
- list of tabs can be shared with others on smart phone etc.
- pinned tabs on your browser are not affected by the use of One tab. they remain in place;
- lists are not lost when pc is restarted
- easily delete unwanted tabs
To Unstal
Right click on One tab icon in google chrome or firefox browser
