I'm at a crossroads
So I've been building up my site for 9 months in between working and other activities, but I've hit a crossroads.
I know this is a marathon not a sprint but its sometimes tough when you know you are trying your hardest to put out quality content and don't see any sort of return.
The reason I say I'm at a crossroads is I don't know what type of site I am building anymore what direction I'm meant to be going in. I hear people talking about the money being all in the list but I've no idea how to build a list
Building a list isn't mentioned in the training just write great quality content and people will come, but come to what to read my content and then leave ?.
I review products people read the reviews and then leave maybe the quality of my content isn't as a great as I think. I'm getting on average about a 1000 visitors a month and I have 4 cents in my adsense account.
So do I just carry on publishing content or do I create a way of making a list ?. I need some advice.
I've got the next 3 days free from any distractions I'll be spending it on WA working on my site but where best to spend this time ?
Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Most people make the mistake of doing things backward… "Putting-The-Cart-Before-The-Horse".
EXAMPLE: Building a Website & hoping an Audience will find it & like it. It's much better to FIRST find the Audience & discover what they want. Then build what they want and tell them where it is.
If you are wondering how to find YOUR AUDIENCE:
Go to Where they 'hang-out'.
Find Forums where they are gathered together.
Find the forums by doing a Google Search for:
" your niche + forum "
In your case, type: Oral Hygiene Forums
Become part of the forum. Note what they are talking about - what their needs & desires are - build you website based on that - then tell them where they can find what they are looking for.
You can find more helpful information, such as this on the website that I am currently building at:

Let me know if this is helpful,

Cheers Wally,
I think we all get to a point when we question what we are doing.I think its what we do after that, that defines who we are .
Some may quit but others try and find a another route past the obstacle and thats what I plan to do.
Thanks for the advice.
That's great as long as we don't "PUT-THE-CART-BEFORE-THE-HORSE.
