Alternatives to Paid Graphics Programs
So... I was answering a question here on WA about graphics programs and which ones to use for capturing images and over the years I have used many (I build Websites for a living).
I've used the likes of photoshop and many others, CorelDRAW a very long time ago, but they all usually come with a hefty price tag.
So today I wanted to share with you a FREE program that has been on the Internet for years which is often overlooked. You may know it, you may not.
The program is called ... wait for it... Gimp! and I know the name will conjure up all manner of thing, but it is actually a high quality graphics package with a ZERO price tag.
You can edit images with it, you can also create amazing graphics with it to. You can add titles to your graphics and even create vector drawings (drawings you can manipulate and stretch to any size)
Gimp is open source which basically means it is created by programmers who like to make things for free just so they can say we have done a better job than those other paid software packages.
So for anyone looking for a FREE high quality graphics package check it out!

It might not be for you, but I thought I would tell you about it before you spend your hard earned cash on expensive software.
