Google Update?
Apparently there has been a unannounced Google update over the past couple of days. My website traffic took a huge nosedive and I lost 40% of my traffic.
Digging into it deeper I found that some of my articles that were once on page 1 had drop 2-4 pages.
Has anyone experienced anything like this from this update?

I stand corrected, it appears there was an update over the last couple of days. I think its probably too early right now to exactly understand what they were targeting.
I noticed I loss ranking in desktop search but my article is still on the first page on mobile search. The stranger thing is that on the desktop search there is like 10 different amazon pages from different countries ranking above me. I find that so strange if I am in the US why am I seeing amazon pages from a bunch of different countries.
I experience that every time there's a major update, unfortunately. Not everyone gets affected, but my sites seem to.
No, despite many efforts to try to. The August 2018 update hit me the hardest on my first MMO site, and it's never recovered no matter what changes or improvements I made.

That seems to happen regularly.
This is definitely the first time my website was impacted from a google update and its quite frustrating.
