Ready to make some money?
So I've been a little quiet the last two weeks. And there's a good reason for that.
I eluded to the topic in a recent WA Blog Post a week ago about considering the impact of including a mobile app as part of your website strategy. With the astounding growth of mobile devices, it makes good sense.
There are some tricks to learn to get through the process, but overall, not major stumbling blocks. More importantly, I'm quite excited about the possibilities and how quick to market I can make this all happen. And I have the WA community to thank for that!
Here's the before-it-hits-the-street scoop
There's a reason why we call fishing, well, fishing. Because most of us do more "fishing" than we do "catching". And now there's an app for that!
And there just happens to be a new revenue opportunity for WA'ers.
Promote subscriptions to MN Fishing Club. http://fishreportmn.com/affiliates/
There are fishermen from all over the United States that come to Minnesota to fish our ginormous repository of lakes. Connect with fishermen of all ages and gender and help them catch more fish.
Help build a community of fishing enthusiasts that would love to learn new tips, tricks and tactics and turn their fishing time into catching time.

Doug - great idea....could be useful down here in Florida since we have anglers who chase "the big one" everywhere. Thanks for sharing.

To be advertised for people who fish in MN, correct? Where do most of the fishermen come from (out of state) to try their luck in MN?
All over the country. As you know, there are plenty of snowbirds that will head south for the winter. If nothing else, than to get a break from the winter, even if for a short period of time. If someone grew up in this area or has family with a lake cabin, they will often visit and do some fishing, so geographically, they could come from anywhere.
On the other hand those that own and maintain cabins will likely be within a days travel.
This model will be replicated for other states so if marketing works for one, it should work for the other. Know what I mean?

Much like the community of WA, my business plan is to build a community of fishing enthusiasts. Everyone wins when we give each other opportunities to earn some do-re-me.
