I read your article, and I can relate, although I am not from Minnesota! I was born and raised in northwestern Ohio and now reside in Maryland. The recent week-long cold snap was almost too much to bear. I don't do "cold weather" very well so I dream all winter of getting my sailboat underway as soon as the weather breaks.
