Upgraded to yearly membership

Time flies! It's been over a month since I joined WA. Looking at my progress, I have to admit that I'm super slow. I haven't found my niche yet, not to mention setting up my website and making money. But why did I want to stay with WA?

Before I list the reasons why I decided to upgrade to yearly membership, let me bring up my past experience about affiliate marketing. About 5 years ago, I attended a conference about making money online. One of the methods I learned was to join affiliate marketing. That was actually an impressive presentation. The host made a nice video presentation, in which he showed us his fancy life travelling the world while making tons of money from his platform, and he included some testimonials from some of the members. At the end of the presentation, the majority of attendees, probably over 90% of the 60 to 80 attendees, rushed to grab the form to join the platform. Of course I didn't join, first of all I could not afford the $1,000 membership fee at that time; and I tend to do more research before I make a big investment. After the conference I tried the methods I learned, and found out it was possible to make money online, but way more difficult compared to what the host claimed to be. The target customers (like myself) were mostly Chinese immigrants with limited English skills, and the host claimed that his offering can make people rich quickly regardless of English skills. But I found out either affiliate marketing or online survey, English skills are essential. I became suspicious and I decided to stay away from that company. Until recently I tried to search the company again, and I could not find it anymore. It might have been vanished long time ago. I am happy that even when I was desperate (relying on unemployment while having to support a growing family), I was able to take a step back, taking the scam-like offer with a grain of salt and doing my research.

Now let me come back to the topic - my experience with WA. Before I joined WA, I was considering drop-shipping seriously and I found out online marketing skills are critical to my E-commerce, regardless what I do. That was why I searched online marketing and discovered WA. I'm still debating if I should go by drop-shipping or affiliate marketing, or doing both if time allows. With a lot of good reviews about WA, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I made that decision. I really like this community. Below are the reasons why I chose to stay:

• Well-structured training sessions with in-depth content. The amount of info might be overwhelming to a newbie like myself, I have to admit.
  
• Quality training/posts created by awesome members.
  
• Great community support - ask a question and other members will try to help quickly; connect to some top-ranked members and send them PM's, you will get answers more like one-on-one consulting.
  
• Useful tools included in membership - website hosting, keyword tool, and more.
  

Right now my biggest struggle is time. I have a busy schedule - take care of 2 kids at home in the morning, send 1 of them to school, come back home with the 18-month-old and do some cooking/housework; go to work in the afternoon 2:30 ~ 11PM. On weekdays I just cannot find long enough period of time to work on my online business project.

Anyway, quitting is not an option. I don't give up easily. If one way is not working, I'll keep trying until I find something that works for me.
