Five Ways To Practice Gratitude
What's up my WA Family! I hope you all are staying safe and doing well.
As 2020 comes to an end, I would like this moment to gently ask everyone to take time out for reflection.
This year has brought loads of challenges but as we close out the year there are so many things to be thankful for.
Let's Start with a Gratitude Practice
When's the last time we all spent a moment practicing gratitude?
Focusing on what went well (rather than what didn't) is a seemingly small attitude shift that can make a big difference. Those who practice gratitude feel happier, have higher self-esteem, sleep better at night, and exercise more.
Are you ready to try it out? Here are five simple ways to get started practicing gratitude:
- Set aside five minutes at night: Use this time to think of one — or more — great moments from during your day.
- Set a gratitude alarm: Set an alarm that prompts you to spend 60 minutes feeling appreciation.
- Journal: track the goodness in your life. (You can use the notes section on your phone, too!)
- Use a calendar: Jot down what you're grateful for on a calendar or your planner.
- Say thanks: Write a note or call to thank someone who's made a difference in your life
As this strange and challenging year comes to an end, I'm so very grateful for everyone here at WA. Together, we can continue to build a community that's passionate, helpful, and kind.
Wishing you all a very safe and happy holiday!

A great list, Hon! We should try to ALWAYS be grateful though--for each new day that we are allowed!

My husband and I usually talk in the evenings about what we are grateful for. Nice way to wrap the day up!

I grateful Hon that you reminded me that it is important to focus on what has gone right and not so much that is wrong. Thanks buddy

Hugh my man! Glad to be of service. It’s hard to focus on the goods given the current situation but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. We just have to keep focusing on what we have instead of what we don’t have. I wish you and your family a Happy Holiday. I’m very grateful we’ve connected.
Stay safe my friend!
