After reading a very empowering and captivating blog post from Eddy with a Y, I've become inspired to come here and do some blogging for you guys! The post was geared for people who had fears in writing or being a writer. I've never feared writing as far as for the grammar, misspelling or punctuation error. What I feared or rather still fear is maybe the topics I choose to write about isn't really captivating or maybe the ideas I have been so overly played out and people won't stick around to read it.

Rest assured, that article gave me a sense of hope and motivation to at least try blogging here to the Wealthy Affiliate Community and get a feel of what people would want to read about.

So to begin my blogging journey, I wanted to give a bit of background to who I am, what I do for a living and all the other good stuff people like to know about bloggers.

Whatcha Do for a Living?

As of now I'm a part-time Dietary Worker at Lower Manhattan Hospital. I assist the Nutritionists with setting up and delivering trays of food to patients' with dietary restrictions. Working there I've become a bit more than a food server, I've dealt with patients' who go through things that you wouldn't be able to imagine. Often times I find myself in a patients' room listening to a patients' life story or the reason why they are in the hospital for close to an hour. I've had moments with patient family members too, where they confided in me and sometimes show me their most vulnerable side. I guess you can say I've also become a human diary to many.

When I'm not serving food or listening to/experiencing raw emotions, I'm home enjoying time with my two year old son. He's such a character! He is truly my motivation to be a low key hustler. If he wasn't in my life, I would be slackin' off without a care in the world. I feel such a rush to be successful and financially secure because I know that he depends on me so much. As a single mother... well, as a parent in general, your child looks at you as an example for their future and I want him to do better than myself. I want him to see that no matter what obstacles, no matter the mistakes made in the past, none of that matters as long as you keep focused on what it is that you want in life. Anything is achievable as long as you believe.

While all that is going on, I still feel unaccomplished... Or rather I am not doing what my heart desires for me to do. What is it exactly? Honestly I don't know LOL. But I know what I don't want from life and that's working for someone else, making their pockets bigger and sacrificing so much time from my son and myself. I DO want to help other's, but in a more creative manner. That's why I turned to Wealthy Affiliates to create a website. I can be the boss of my own creations and those creations can be made to help others.

Do you have any specific goals for the rest of this year?

My main goal for this year is to get my blog established before the end of this year. Even if by than I only get 5 readers, that'll be 5 more readers than a today and those 5 people can recommend to 5 others and so on and so forth. I know when my website is established it has potential, but it just has to be established first and I give it a year tops.

Totally unrelated to blogging, I want to go to the beach every week for the Summer. I'm just soooooooo over winter 2.0 right now LOL. I want to bask in the beautiful sun and get a nice summer tan :) #Summer2018Goals

And lastly, I am determined to find more time with my son. I feel so bad working so much knowing these are those important learning moments for him and I. When the weather is just right, we will be going to the zoo, to the park, sesame place, watch pj masks together and more! And who knows I just might take those moments to blog about it here #NewBlogIdea

Will Blogging be Your Profession or Hobby?

Hmm, that's a good question. Right now, I am dedicating myself to it as a profession just because if it were a hobby, I'd eventually stop after 2 may be 3 weeks or even a month max! But I'm really determined and excited to see how things go from here.
