2987 Words! Make Sure you Love What you're Writing About
I just wrote my first historical article for my site and it ended up being 2987 words. It was the first time I had to do a lot of research for a piece. I didn't think it would end up being anywhere near that long (my posts are rarely over 1300 words) but I really wanted to make sure I got everything in there I needed to.
I thought there was going to be a chance that I would feel a bit burnt out after but it's really been the opposite. I feel like I learned a lot more about my niche and I am really feeling energized and motivated to keep up the work on my website. This positive energy really makes me feel like I'm starting off in the right niche.
What I really want to say is that be sure that you are choosing a niche that you are passionate about or there is a good chance you can burn out quickly. I feel it's definitely the #1 factor to consider when choosing your line of business. Don't spend forever figuring out your niche though. The main thing to remember is if there are affiliate programs online for your niche, then it's a GOOD NICHE! If you're enjoying your research it won't feel like work and it won't be hard for you to come up with things to discuss.

You are so right! passion is the main thing. what if... you've had the passion kicked out of you! lol. I've spent the last 4 years fighting my way back, working a few jobs, 54 hours a week at least... I can't remember what I am passionate about anymore... but your words bring home the point, that it is key.. just have to eat some.. passion fruit this week end.. that AFTER corned beef and cabbage tonight for St. Patty's day.. mmm yum ( did you miss the part where I'm Irish?) yea, it's ok.. most do. It definitely depends on the topic of the post. There are days that are easier than others, but I do enjoy it... That's the main thing!
