It begins.
I've created the Crocheting Dudes website, and sprung for a proper domain. I envision it to be a website about approaching the crochet world from a non-traditional point of view. Crochet is inundated with patterns and tools geared towards the feminine. Of course, there is NOTHING wrong with that, but it may not excite some men that want to get into crochet.
I envision a space where I can write about cool patterns for a "traditionally masculine" lifestyle (eg. beer coozies, funny/inappropriate stuffed creatures), and have an honest discussion about tools of the trade using a voice that may be more relatable to some.
I want to tread this idea carefully, as the concept of gender can be controversial and I could easily offend my readers. "Crocheting Dudes" will be a lighthearted title, and certainly won't give off a "no girls allowed" vibe.

Sounds like a good plan Andrew, but please remove your link as it is not allowed in this part of WA
Go well with your new build and all the best

Oops! Sorry about that, I edited it out. I was prompted to write about building my first website, perhaps that prompt can ask not to include a link in the blog post.
All good Andrew. Just don't want you reported
A quick adjustment and you are rocking :)
Go well and build a great sire
Well done
Vicki
