3 Ways to get Inspiration for Keywords
Sometimes I just don't have inspiration for keywords. We have learned methods in the training and at times there is a blogpost with ways to get inspired. And I do courses and get some tools than as well.
The more is not always the better because it can be confusing to have too many choices. Still, I wanted to share 3 methods with you. Maybe it helps. :)
1. For Pinterest users
Kyle taught us a method on Google. Add your keyword and start with the letters of the alphabet to see what possibilities turn up.
That same method can be applied to Pinterest. The results will be different because obviously, Pinterest will look at the community within Pinterest.
Make sure you're on the homepage or the business hub when you search. If you are on your pin or board page the results won't be general.
2. Another method on Pinterest
The second method starts the same way as the first method. Fill in a keyword. After entering a return you'll see a page with pins and buttons above them. (BTW, it seems that not everyone gets to see those buttons).
The texts in the buttons are additions to the keyword. So in this example, it's "Food cravings", "Food 4th of July", etc. Mouse over the buttons will select all the texts, even the ones that are hidden on the right side. Copy them and paste them into an Excel sheet.
The food example delivered 90+ additions to the keyword. The more keywords you put in the search field, the fewer additions.
Not all the additions will be worthwhile to you. That's why I said, it can be an inspiration. :)
3. Ubersuggest
The third method is Ubersuggest. This tool is developed by Neil Patel and is free to use in a stripped-down version.
In the keyword analyzer, you can type your keyword. In the example, I used again 'food'. Search will give 25 results. If you want more, you'll have to pay, of course.
These 25 suggestions can be downloaded as a CSV file and pasted to an Excel sheet.
Apart from the keyword suggestions, you'll see volume and SEO difficulty. Clicking on the button 'Search Results' will show web pages, similar to what Jaaxy does.
What do you think?
Most of the time I look at Google but at times it helps me to use one of the described methods. What do you think?
