What do I look for in an affiliate program?

There are several factors to consider:
1) Does the affiliate offer products in your niche? - If they don't offer things related to our niche move on.
2) Is the affiliate well established (i.e. Amazon vs momandpop.com)? - I'd start with a larger, well established program vs an unknown.
3) What are the affiliate requirements to join (i.e. so many sales in x days, x number of posts/engagements, etc.)? - Can you meet the requirements? If not, wait until you can. In the case of the number of sales requirement, consider waiting until you have a steady visitor rate.
These are just a few things to consider but should give you a little information to think about. I like Amazon as they sell practically anything and their so many sales requirement isn't that bad. That said, they are sticklers for following their rules. I ran into an issue where they killed my affiliate account until I cleared it up. You can read about that here: Amazon affiliate disclosure - why did they close my account?
Thank you very much for your insight. As well as the link you provided. It is extremely helpful.

I use a smartphone to do all of this. I’m at the last task of session 2. My dashboard layout is different than what Kyle shows. Is anyone able to help me find this so t
They added a smartphone platform a week or two ago so it changed a lot of things. On your smart phone, activate the mode in which you can vew as webpage. This will let you access the training and all the features as if you were on a laptop.
Thank you so much! Is this something I need to do in my phone settings? Or is this option somewhere within WA?

I was checking out my website after adding my first content post. When I tried to go back to “home”, I was told that someone is impersonating the site to steal info
Does your website have "https" at the beginning or "http". the "s" means it is encrypted. It's not that you are trying to steal information it is that any information put into the website could be seen by other people If you have https then you may have an https error, meaning it is not all cleared yet. Check out this to see how to fix. I hope that helps.

Well it answers my question of what the problem is. I followed the instructions of your link. Didn’t help much as I have no clue where this ssl switch is. And once I find it, I’m supposed to turn it off and then back on??? I’m even more confused.
When you hit the back button, it sometimes does that. If you were to refresh the page it should eliminate that
I I tried refreshing. It didn’t work. I resigned into the site, went to my privacy policy, went to my post, and then tried to go “home”. Trying to go home, it tells me that the page is trying to steal financial information. That is NOT something I intend to do.
