Losing Faith
Hey Ya'll
I am to the point of throwing in the towel. I have been putting all my time and effort into my site. I am talking 12 to 19 hours a day seven days a week. For what? So far I have earned $2.00, which is not mine until I reach $25.00 for a pay out.
I know and knew that it takes time and effort to start making real money. But in the meantime I am shelling out a monthly fee to be here. If I was making enough to meat these payment it would make the wife happy. She is thinking that I have got hooked into another scam, a very good one but a scam.
I keep telling her that I don't believe it is that I have my site and now I have to figure out how to make it work. But any one of you that is married know how it is to live with someone who doesn't believe in what you are doing.
I had one of the members, who told me of a way to help meet my monthly payments. I didn't think this was an honest way to make money. I had thought that I could ask my followers to help, but found out that it is not allowed. I was informed about pay it forward. this made me wonder what is the whole purpose of having followers and following others.
I have found some great people here that I have relied on when I needed help, and I have them in my friends list. Other than that can anyone tell me why to follow other people ? Are this people how are following me hoping that I will be able to help them? Well I don't know if or how to help anyone, when I don't fully understand all the ins and out of this program. Maybe I missed something or didn't comprehend all the information I have read.
At first I was trying to make the top 200. I had made it to 202 when I gave up realizing that it was for people supporting WA to make money. That is not why I am here. After I have achieved my goal of having a successful website I may build one to to promote WA. Then I will have the true belief in them and be able to honestly promote them. At that point I will continue with the bootcamp and reach the Top 200 list.
I also tried to get my site health all to 100%. I had it so that all but the site trust was at 100%. For that I needed traffic and made the mistake of asking my follower to visit my site. Thus learned what the pay forward policy ment. So now I will take the time to make comments to get traffic and site trust.
For now my goal is to promote vaping and its way of life. This is what I believe in. My web site is the first step in this goal. With this site I want to make enough money to be able to open a vape shop for my wife to own. This goal and dream may die soon. I may have to end it if I can not show my wife that this is working and I have not just been wasting much need money for The household.
I am open to suggestions if anyone has any.

Hi there. I just took a look at your website. I am by no means an expert and still pretty much a beginner myself, but here is my take on your situation.
If you are following the training, you should be coming up with content that targets keywords. Those keywords will bring in your traffic. I am sure there are a lot of people looking for information in this niche, so that isn't your problem. What you need is more content.
From what I could see, you only have about four posts right now. Do some more research in your niche, find some keywords that you can write posts about, and just get the word out there! But please don't give up yet, you can do this!
Hey RushingBee, you must have looked at the wrong site. If you looked at ozarkhillsandhollersvape.com you would see that I have 30 post and 29 pages. I have finished all the lessons and half of the boot camp. With Google ranking I have over 150 results.
My niche is a very competitive one. But thank you for your response. My biggest problem is getting the traffic to get higher placed with Google.
Okay, I checked again and now I do see your posts off to the side - but that was not immediately obvious to me. I followed the four links from the menu on the top, and I mistakenly thought that was all there was to your site.
Perhaps your site could use a little reorganization, and maybe that will help improve your user experience?
For instance, if you had a separate blog page for all of your posts, with an easier way to navigate it so people can find what they are looking for.

Did I do something wrong again?
I have been having trouble with get my affiliate banners to work the last couple of days. But the biggest problem is getting traffic. That and after a short break do to surgery , my site health went into the yellow.

Traffic will come from two ways. The primary way is by getting high Google rankings and that will come from pages and posts utilizing good SEO with low competition keywords and content that is long-form, meaning at least 1,500 words long.
The problem with this approach, though the most effective for the long run, is that it will take time for Google to see you as an authority in your niche. Working 12 to 19 hours 7 days a week will not speed up the process. You getting higher in Google rankings depends on Google's time frame.
Do not lose faith yet. Billionaire Jeff Bezos of Amazon didn't really start making good money until 2 years in. Though I am sure you could be profitable sooner in this popular niche, give yourself at least a year, any less is not enough time.
Now here is what I would do while waiting for my pages and posts to rise up in rankings to get traffic. I would go to my target audience and share my website links. I would use social media and join Vaping Communities on Google+ and Vaping Groups on Facebook. Tweet my links on Twitter and use the hashtags #vaping #vapes and #vape and set up a Pinterest account with boards on Vaping.
Instead of waiting for Google to rank you higher so you can get more traffic, go to where the traffic is.which is social media. That is what I would do.because no matter which approach you take it is going to take you time to get traffic, but going to your traffic is much faster.
