Anyone get frustrated?

....with yourself? with life? I started this a few months ago, and have first let myself get bogged down in overwhelm from all of the information, and then just life in general...I have to work a job that I don't particularly like (read: REALLY don't like).

What I love to do, I have little time for - remaking and painting cast-off curbside furniture. And then, there is wealthy affiliate, which I believe is my best chance for an online business that I can enjoy - along with some much-desired freedom.

My brain is fried, and I feel trapped. So that's it. And here I am, finding my way to the back burner, right where I left you all. Is there a do-over button at Wealthy Affiliate? I think I need to make use of it, and begin again.

Thank you kind strangers for bearing with my not-so-edifying post. That is all. :)

I am feeling the same way. I want to work more on writing posts and working on my site but lately I barely get time to do anything! I am hoping things calm down soon around my house and life and I will have more time!

Hey Patty! I empathize, believe me... I have found that sometimes (just sometimes), we fill our "spare time" with busywork as a means of avoidance. That totally may not be the case with you, but if I'm honest, there are those times that I find that to be true of myself. So here's a kick in the pants for the both of us! Carve out 15 minutes, even if you have to lock yourself in the bathroom to do it. I really believe we will find that it's been worth it when we get to the "other side". :)

You know what! I think you are on to something there! I never thought of it that way. I just have to suck it up and do it! Thanks for the advice!

Welcome to the club:) I think mostly of all beginners, who can not give all time to WA, feel overwhelmed. We want results now, because these bridge jobs are not fun. Anyway, they help to pay bills. Maybe you need break. Take weekend off, spend time somewhere in nature, meditate, watch comedy, laugh with friends. You will be fine. Good luck:)

Thank you, that's exactly what I plan to do!

Dont give up,there are always *excuses* of why not to continue. But look at the reasons to continue and you will find they out weigh the negatives.
You are not alone, many of us go through this phase. So pick yourself up and start again. just don't give up

Yes, Roamy, that is what we all have to do when we get bogged down. I, especially, can have so much swirling around in my own head that it can get tiring. Best to put on your (my) big girl pants, roll up my sleeves and get back to it!

I found this quote and thought of you.

Feel like you need something to lift your spirits? Life is a struggle – whatever you’re struggling with, it helps to hear words of encouragement that remind us that we all take knocks in life, but the best things in life come through persistence.
Whether you’ve just had another setback chasing your dreams, been rejected by someone you care about, faced tragedy, or you’re just feeling drained from the ups and downs of this journey we call life, remember that things can turn around in an instant. All you have to do is keep moving forward, even when it feels like it would be easier to just lay down and give up.

So true, and thank you!

Thanks guys, for your words of encouragement. Mostly I was kicking myself in the pants (in public), and sometimes it helps others to see that they aren't the only one who feels that way, and even gets down on themselves on occasion. Life is life, as Big Daddy said. Nothing comes without conflict and/ or frustration, without which there would be no victories. Right?

Any-hoo, it was just a rant, and I sure do appreciate the comments. Today is a new day. :)

There is nothing wrong with starting fresh Lori, sometimes we need to do this at some point just to get our bearings.

Have I been frustrated? Sure. Many....many....MANY times.

Almost daily, and that is a natural reaction when trying to learn something new or when you are hitting a wall that takes a few attempts to bust through it.

What I can say is it is these frustrating or confused moments that make the difference between success and mediocrity. The average person will let it get the best of them, those that push however will experience new knowledge, new levels of achievement, and new found success.

I promise. :)

Thanks, Kyle, sometimes it helps just to voice what's rattling around in your head, which takes away its (negative thoughts) power to keep you stuck...... I press on. :)

I certainly understand and empathize with your feelings. Some days I find myself in your position when it is hard to think positively. I just read a blog by BigDaddyFred that talks about frustration and you might want to read it as well. Will keep you in my thoughts and am sending my best wishes for your work here at WA which so much in the way of positive feedback as you continue.

I'll have to take a look at BDF's post. He is a "well seasoned" guy with loads of good advice, and life experience to impart. Always a source of encouragement. Thanks for your comments.

IMHO, the only way to avoid frustration is to not try to do anything important or good. We, the humans of the world certainly all share this

Thanks, BDF... for your wise (crack) advice. LOL Absolutely correct, and thanks for the morning smile. :)

Check this out:

Thanks! I'll check it out. :)
