My PASSIVE journey to £$1000 per week
My number one reason for joining WA was, and will remain until I achieve it, the allure of building a passive income that will hopefully fund a lavish old age pensioners lifestyle
I made the classic mistake of emptying the pension pots long before reaching the half way point (which round these parts is age 33) as my young and reckless mind was determined to live for the day, and let the future look after itself.... oops, this literally was a classic school boy error!
Anyway, being self employed for a good 20 years, my active income can vary from hitting 1k per week occasionally , to minus figures once expenses are taken off (and don’t mention dreaded holidays when it’s a definite zilch coupled with the necessary outlay of holiday spending money)
The grand plan, as i age, and the active income becomes less, is where I must find the passive income funds. Step up WA, yes I am expecting you to fund my old age, in return I will endeavour to put the spade work in now.
There will of course be other income streams that I will actively explore, and the idea of article writing appeals greatly since I started here, if I can find the right avenue to go down. Matched betting, which is 100% risk free, is an avenue that I have experience in and can generate a stress free £50-£100 per week income.
Switching and shopping around for better deals is a biggie for me personally and I know I could be up to £100 per week better off with renewed effort on my part.
The WA journey for me, has started as an enjoyable experience and I wish for it to stay that way. I’ve always been one to take the scenic route if possible. Think about your daily commute to work or that long and arduous journey to visit friends and relatives where you get held up in queues and stuck at traffic lights? I’m going to suggest that the journey could be so much nicer by taking an alternative route? A route that may take longer, or involve a refreshing pit stop or two? I hope you can see where I’m going here, as the quickest route may be the monotonous journey with anticipated obstacles.
It doesn’t have to be that way, if you’re prepared to open your mind a little and consider your other options. My forthcoming blogs will centre around my active income and hopefully the start of my passive income.
Now for my eagerly anticipated goals by numbers??!!
1000 be it pound sterling or dollars, this is my ultimate passive income per week figure
3750 I am so thrilled to be increasing my ranking figure, Day on day
400+ fantastic followers who I now class as my network family

Hello Heydey, I like your attitude in taking the "scenic route" through life, it sounds like fun. You're motivated and doing well, good luck with your goals, I have no doubt you'll hit them.
Hi Kim, and thank you so much for the reply. The scenic route idea just hit me the other day, so I thought I must incorporate that into my next blog! The only danger being that there is a fine line between scenic route and taking the path of least resistance, so I need to be careful there

Heyday
welcome to WA, I too have gone down the matched betting route and did the usual sign up offers but then got frustrated by the "reloads" and wagering, so knocked that on the head.. It be interesting to hear how you find MB?
Thanks Nitesh. The matched betting income HAS to be done in a very disciplined manner. If you don’t have that, then I would advise against it. At the moment I’m so focused on my work here, I feel that once it has settled down a little, I can do the matched betting as a very casual sideline. Most people who do it, have too much time on their hands, and their greed or need will push them to take unnecessary risks

You have a plan, that's a great start and you are with the right program to keep you on track, that's even better so now you just have to deliver by following all that you learn here at WA and a steady passive income should be on the way.
All the best and enjoy the journey.
Thank you for your supportive comments Freisia, I know I’m on the right track now, I just need to make sure that I don’t fall off!

Inspiring each other be it by the day, or the hour, or even the moment right now, to make us do something that could change our financial future for the better, should be in our list of goals too

I help retirees and near retirees find their purpose. I think everyone should have a business, so that is always one of my recommendations. There is no better business model than IM and not better instruction than WA. So,I'm with you. Long term care in Hawaii cost $15K per month. That puts my annual income goal at $250000
Thanks for the reply Bill,, though I have to say I’m shocked at the cost of long term care where you are. Here in the Uk it’s about £3k or $4k per month
