1. A brief farewell

So everyone, I’m aware that the end of my 1st month is approaching on the 21st of June, I’ve decided to cancel my premium membership until I’m in a position to get a new laptop. Unfortunately, as much as I’ve loved the community and the blogs, I’ve struggled with the training due to all of my online activities being done on my phone. I replied to Kyles message today and although I’ve had no reply as of yet, I’ve decided to share it below as it helps to explain my situation. Here you go....

Heydayabout 7 hours ago

Hi Kyle, thanks for your message

I have found the whole WA experience amazing from the community side, you have so many talented and helpful members on a platform second to none, for what you are aiming to achieve.

From my side, I have done everything off my mobile phone which I find so convenient to use, however it halted my training progress half way through level 1 when I got stuck on the plugins.I understand know that I need to invest in another laptop if I want to make the necessary progress with regards to website building.

My story is an all too familiar one, of being short of liquid cash, as every spare penny is tied up in assets.

As I mentioned earlier, I have rediscovered a lost inner energy, since joining WA, I have unearthed my writing potential with some of my blogs, the feedback I received just blew me away really, and I even managed to get 80+ likes on one of them.I could tell from the comments, that I have a writing talent to be proud of.

With my remaining 2 weeks at WA, I would like to achieve a ranking in the top 300 and another 5 blogs! (I may even include this message in one of them, as I hope it will promote WA and explain to others my reason for the ‘au revoir’

I will put my WA experience to good use, with the aim of attempting a second income through writing articles in the short term, and I will be back!....

Best wishes David aka heyday

2. Goals by numbers

300.....as stated above I will still apply myself with the days remaining, to see if I can rank in the top 300, I think this may be a little optimistic, but hey it’s a goal

6.....months, I shall aim to be back in WA within this time

4.....blogs left to write now!

3. Favourite news story of the day

I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I read this story today.

Pippa is a 10 year old terrier dog, and lives in the outback in Darwin, Australia.

Ever since she’s been a pup, she has run outside and guarded her owners from the 11 foot long crocodiles, that occasionally stray onto their ranch. Pippa does this by giving them a friendly nip on their tail, and then the crocodile will scurry back to the water.

Pippa has become something of a local celeb and people go to view her crazy antics, which have labelled her with the nickname ‘dumb blonde’

As you might imagine this crazy game of Russian roulette ended as only it might, when upon the fateful day, Pippa charged out of the house to confront the crocodile, and pumped up on brave tablets, she carelessly opted to approach the crocodiles head, rather than its tail.....

.... game over

No analogy to make here, just one of those stories that makes us happy and sad in equal measures

Hope you enjoyed the blog, I have nothing but admiration for this place

Best wishes

Heyday

I know Alanna, I kind of feel like a dad who is deserting his young family! Thankfully I haven’t done that in real life, and I sincerely wish to return
