Complacency can be defined as self-satisfaction when accompanied by unawarness of actual dangers or deficiencies. Complacency can be dangerous in our business for the following reasons. Complacency can sneak up on you as a feeling of being pleased with yourself or being secure in the state you're in, speaking in terms of work and business. Don't ever think that you're immune to this adversary of each of us. When you're in a state of complacency, you stop doing your absolutely best work because you feel that the way you've done things in the past will work for you always. We are in a highly competitive market and the stakes are very high. The thing we always need to remember is that we are always in school, learning is the key to success in any business and is one element that must never be overlooked. Share your ideas with others and allowing them to give you some constructive criticism on how to better improve yourself. This is key in staying on top of what is happening now in the field you're in. Take heed and observe the warning signs of complacency, what you ignore could come back to haunt you!
