Eyes Wide Open to New Horizons

Today I completed the third level of training. It has been awesome, encouraging, enlightening, and at times my fellow WAs have helped me for which I am so thankful.

It's wildly exciting developing a website with the potential of earning its keep (making money). So In addition to my niche site I began a site to market WA, and I have a third site for down the track to market my little ebooks, However, that is on hold for a while as it involves another degree of writing...... Something to look forward to.

I have enjoyed experimenting with Pinterest and learning how many clicks my websites are receiving. It's getting to the stage where the number of clicks might bring in some sales. However, for both websites the sales are a bit long term, so I can't expect anything too quickly. WA for example requires people to join for a free week and then take premier membership for a month before the real rates begin, so for each person we are looking at a minimum of six to eight weeks before any funds come in. My other site is even longer term and requires a lot more work done on it before I become any sort of authority in my area. However, I can see that the authority perspective could open up if I keep working at it for six months or so. I do have some potential short term sales. Perhaps I had better look at website number three which will have potentially quicker turnover. I'm changing my mind even as I write, which just shows how valuable writing or journalling is in the decision-making process. Hey, there could be an article on journalling!

The other thing about Pinterest is the way the pictures remain there always, continuing their work for years. Each picture is an advertisement in itself, but unlike in a newspaper or magazine it doesn't stop working. People can look at it a year from now and check it out.

The process of blogging about my niche and doing research about each blog post is fascinating and gets me into lots of areas of history that otherwise would never come to my attention, so it is an eye-opener in that respect. As my blog is often about places to stay, the local history is one of the features of that visit, and it is great to discover the stories involved. I do have a very long way to go, but I can see how we become the authority in our chosen field as we need to research it constantly. It's an aspect of blogging potential that is new and exciting to me. I find myself becoing increasingly involved in my subject and alarmingly full of ideas, not all of which I can do at once!

I wonder how other members are finding their blogging is changing them as people, changing their levels of interest in their niche and openng new horizons of how they might continue to develop communications in their area. Love to hear from you about that.

Cheers for now, and best wishes for a wealthy future to all my WA companions.

Helen

Thank you so much Wilson. It's so good to have all these wonderful friends to share with. That for me is so special.

Great post Helen! It's very inspiring. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Thank you James. We are very blessed to have discovered this journey to financial freedom and I'm still so excited about it.

You're making stellar progress, Helen! Congratulations, my friend!

Thank you dear friend Jeffrey. You are such an encourager and a great blessing to everyone here.

You're very welcome, Helen! I appreciate your kind sentiments!

Hi There is a lot to learn from your article and I for one will treasure it

Thank you so much My100free. I peeped at you profile, looked at your book and requested one as I'm currently involved in considerations about an education program within our church and I believe the financial aspect is vital. So by just your answering my post you have blessed me twice over as I had not thought to include that very essential area as yet. So thank you again.

Hi My100free. Thank you for your comment. I peeped at your profile and learned about the book you are promoting, so I ordered one because I am currently considering a curriculum for our young people at church and you have caused me to think of the financial side as well. You are right. We do need to give plenty of teaching on this essential subject, so thank you again. You have blessed me twice over already!

Thank you for your comment and checking the book concerning financial literacy for kids and teens. I take seriously. Thank you once again for the thought.

Think for me early days yet only one thing I know for sure the more I read the less I realise I know....;)
Trust you are keeping well Helen ;
Congratulations on the training!!

Hi my dear friend Ramco. I get fitter all the time these days and your encouragement has something to do with that. Hopefully I shall visit one of the places I am advertising because I have a nephew living in the area, so that is going to be in interesting experience. The more I get involved the more exciting the journey becomes. I'm working on places with gardens to go holiday in (most places lack any kind of external natural beauty) and I am finding it such fun researching their history and giving people plenty of reason to want to go there. Eyeopening indeed.
Thank you for your lovely friendship. It means a great deal to me.

Hey,
Your only trying to butter me up cause I haven't heard from you for a while and after reading your interesting blog and this now I know why!! well done you. Your intended trip sounds great and visiting gardens is a most pleasurable activity. It took off in the UK as you know we are a nation of garden lovers!! Happy you are finding it such fun and keeping it busy..;)
In this relationship kind lady the pleasure is all mine!! You already know that it means equally a lot to me...don't do anything I wouldn't do on your trip..lols..
Enjoy!!

Yeah. I can see my buttering up skills need a bit of work as the mechanisms should be invisible. Oh well. A bit more research never hurt anyone. wonder what the keywords are for that? OK Jaaxy, here we go again. Next week perhaps. It's too late right now. Besides that topic is quite irrelevant to my pages, and the message is keep focussed, so that's the plan. Keep focussed and don't spare the virtual ink.

Keep focused, plan and don't spare the virtual ink, look like a winning combination to me ;)
Take care Helen!!

PS Peanut butter and almond butter are Jaaxy's best bets for buttering up!
