Plugging Away!

It's been about a month since I joined Wealthy Affiliate and have learned so much! I continue to work through the training and try to put in 15-20 hours a week writing content and posting on social media.

I have to say I never knew there was so much behind creating a website. I had a website for a small online business once and now realize why I didn't have very many sales. The foundation that is built long before a sale ever occurs is so important. I see that now.

So I am in the foundation building phase and it is a lot of work. Although, do believe it will pay off in the long run. I am finally to the point of signing up for affiliate programs and networks and hope to actually insert some links on my site within a week or so.

Writing content is what holds me up in the training. I know it's the most important part but I find it so hard to come up with new ideas to write about. I hope this gets easier with time. The funny things is, I really didn't want to get into writing articles for a living and well, here I am! Surprisingly, I find I have a sense of satisfaction after I finish each one and actually look forward to tackling the next topic. So I guess that's a good sign.

I'm almost halfway through the training and look forward to everything else there is to learn. For now, I will just keep plugging away.
