I just found a viable keyword I could easily rank for, 2800 searches per month. However they are searching for just the product name.

My question is - are these people lo

You can also do something like "5 reasons product A rocks" or even a review will do fine and still get you indexed for the actual keyword. If there's no comp, even a review will get ranked, especially with the content you are adding to it.

So I'm guessing it's ok to put some words in front of your keyword, and still rank?

I created an article mate, cheers for the help.

Yes it is man, so don't get wrapped around specific keywords too much. Did you publish that article?

Yes I did

Alright man, good job!

If you can easily rank for the keyword you should go ahead and add some intent to your post using said keyword. As long as the keyword is in the title you should rank for it. Especially if you found a low QSR. However, just having the name of product is not indicative of consumer intent. Keep me posted on how it goes.

Yeah I was thinking of doing something like "product name - Read this before you buy" or something along those lines.

I bit the bullet and decided to create an article around the keyword. I took johncruz's advice and made 10 Reasons Why (Product) Rocks.

I think that's enough intent to make potential buyers want to read more about the product they're about to buy. And yes, it's a low QSR but a lot of monthly searches.

Will keep you posted and let you know how it ranks if you like?
