Blog is starting to take shape!

Ok so while I can't use the feedback form on Wealthy Affiliate to ask for feedback given my choice to move my site back to my own server, I can now now show it so if you have any comments or questions then please feel free to post them!

I used a theme from my favourite theme store, its a premium theme and I really love the layout. On the backend I have added about 30 pages which I turn into posts as I I do them, each of the pages are set in draft mode based on the keyword so I know exactly what I am going to write about ahead of time.

My method of writing is simple, I grab my keyword and place it into google, find a few articles that i like and do my best to improve them and update them with my own style. To help me I use a piece of software that looks at the original article and checks my own writing to work out how mine compares in terms of originality. This means I can write a 1000 word article in an hour or two. I can't write one every day due to time constraints. I work full time as a web developer and have clients I help out at home in the evenings so I do my best with Wealthy Affiliate.

I am probably getting ahead of myself in the training but i have added a subscription form to the website. To save money on my list I am running it through Amazon SES rather than the usual getresponse, Aweber etc. I stay away fro them because in my view they are grossly overpriced. I pay $1 for 10,000 emails sent..you can't beat that!

I haven't added an email sequence yet but that is on the cards in the next couple of days. I guess that once I have caught up on at least 7 to 8 posts I will then move onto the next part of the training as the site!
