I have chosen NOT to host my websites with wealthy affiliate, not because i don't want to. I would love to but I discovered that the hosting doesn't allow plugins to connected

@HaydenTomas you're still in WA! What solution did you do for mail. I am looking at Sendy and Amazon SES. Is it possible it is just a matter of asking support here to put something on DNS records (I saw a few of the better ESPs require you do to that for authentication).

..I just used a Free WP Affiliate plugin, and its not actually working, It works until a certain point such as: When the registered affiliate receives automatically an email by default the user name and password, and trying to login to his affiliate panel he receives this:

"Authorization Required

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn’t understand how to supply the credentials required.”

I contacted the support of the plugin, and said to me that it could be because of others plugins i have at my website, and try to de-activate them one by one to see witch one creates the problem..but I actually created a test site here at Wealthy Affiliate with no plugins except WP Affiliate plugin..and the problem remains the same..

So does this mean that if I move my hosting away from WA in order to connect with remote servers that I will then give up the ability to have people comment and engage with my page?

The give and take comment thread only works with sites that are hosted at WA. But you can list your sites, wherever they are, on your profile page (bottom right). The plugin issue and having no control panel (cPanel) are the reasons I've stayed with HostGator for most of my websites. ~Marion

It is true that WA doesn't allow plugins that connect to remote servers such as jetpack because it has been problematic for many sites.
There are many people here who use Yoast and also have autoresponders,
I suggest having a chat with support and explain to them what you want to do and see what they say. That way you will know for sure just what is and isn't allowed.

Agree with Forrest's comments above. But, I'm using an autoresponder (GetResponse) with a squeeze page (landing page that accepts subscriptions) and I don't have a problem. I'm using a MailCrunch plug-in in addition to SumoMe.
