Paying it forward!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, dudes and dudets!!

Only a few days to go until Christmas and I have a pretty neat little confession to make to all you wonderful people in the WA community!

THANK YOU!

This time of year it's all about family, friends and the holiday spirit and seeing as me and my wifey find ourselves thousands of miles away from home and our families, I would like to say, first and foremost - THANK YOU to each and everyone who've liked something of mine, answered any of my questions, sent me a personal message, accepted me into your G+ and WA circles and encouraged me in any way these past couple of weeks! You have truly made me feel part of the WA family and even though we've never met in person, I would like to welcome and acknowledge each and every one of you as my friend and online family!

MY NEAT LITTLE CONFESSION...

A few days ago, a fellow WA member made an inspiring, kindhearted gesture that made me sit back and truly wonder... All these goals and dreams of success I'm so focused on, all the effort I'm putting in towards reaching them - my oh my how they can cloud one's perspective on the bigger picture!! This person made me think about people and the inherent selfish nature we sometimes find difficult to suppress - and with a simple, selfless and generous act, she set my priorities straight.

Let's face it, we are all here to reach success in the form of monetary gain - one of the first questions on WA is 'how much would you like to make?' What I sometimes forget when I'm so diligently busy building my website and chasing my set goals is the journey and enjoying the ride! We all want feedback, encouragement and interaction on our sites and time - for the most of us - is always of the essence!

I for one, have forgotten the true meaning of a full and successful life - GRATITUDE and GIVING BACK TO OTHERS!!

I have come to my senses - I have re-discovered the true meaning of COMMUNITY and even though it will most likely wear off again - for the moment - I can follow in the footsteps of the good Samaritan I mentioned earlier...

PAYING IT FORWARD

So, what was the act of kindness shown by the kindhearted one you ask??

This person offered to give feedback on anyone who needed it on their newly written pages and blogs and offered to give feedback on their sites too! So my friends, I would like to do the same, as well as leave comments - all you need do, is reply on this blog and tell me what you need!
