Going Live On Facebook - What do you do when you lose power?

Ever since COVID 19, online presence has increased in demand. With our current technology, anyone can record themselves on video and go live on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and other platforms with news, information, and events. People find more time on their hands while in isolation. They either watch more content or create more content.
I am on the side of creating content. Since all my hands-on food demonstrations for the summer has been canceled, I decided to take the opportunity and create my own online presence.
In April 2020, I started a LIVE FB Vietnamese cooking tip series once a week. Each segment is about 15 minutes long. Every LIVE segment I learned something new. Today was one of those interesting day.

I had a huge glitch in technology. It was something I least expected. Five minutes before 11am when I was supposed to go LIVE on Facebook, I lost power for a few seconds and then it came on again. The power was gone long enough to kill my computer and the internet.
It took several minutes for my computer to reboot and I couldn't get the internet to work again. Ugh!!! What do I do? I did not have a back up plan. The only internet working was my phone. I feverishly went to my LIVE link and notified everyone who were waiting about my electric glitch and I am running late.
I was thinking perhaps I could use my phone as a hotspot for my computer. However, that is not possible because my desktop does not have WIFI. The internet is wired into the modem.
I quickly opened my laptop which can access to WIFI. Maybe, I can get on this way. However, my laptop was not setup with all the files I needed to go live. On top of that, I couldn't locate my scheduled Facebook Live when I logged in. I had advertised a certain link to go live and I couldn't find my way back to that link. Double UGH!!!
By this time it was 11:15a, my 15 minute segment passed. Not to panic, I told myself. "It is OK. It is not the end of the world. Notify everyone, record the segment and/or do it again next week." I took a deep breath. I went LIVE on Facebook, notify everyone, recorded my segment, and plan to go LIVE next week. Luckily not thousands of people were waiting for me. There were only a handful. =)It was a great experience on dealing with stress situation.
What did I take away from this lesson?
1. Everything is OK no matter how big or small the problems are. At the end of day, I know I tried my best and that is all it matters.
2. Always have a back up plan just in case the current plan does not work.
3. Facebook Scheduled Live is not dependable.
Did you have power go out on you right before your presentation? Or anything that is similar happened to you before? And What did you do?
I love to hear your thoughts.
