You are not writing too long. The reason people say it's too long is because they are not really interested in what your posts are about. They are giving feedback so they can get feedback on their own sites.
Truth is, when someone is truly interested in what you're talking about, they'll read every word of a post and watch every minute of a video regardless of the length. The only time length is a problem is when you're getting feedback from people who aren't really passionate about the topic.

Certain posts may be longer than other posts, thats normal. But try to have a minimum of 750 words and up. I have posts that are 1500 , other are just at 800. I hope this helps
