New Zealand Lock Down
Kia Ora, from New Zealand Friends and Colleagues,
Mixed Feelings
With mixed feelings tonight, I report that our Prime Minister has decided that we will all go into home lock down from midnight Wednesday for a minimum of 4 weeks, possibly longer.
Mixed feelings because it is absolutely the right decision that aims at a fleeting window of opportunity, to control this menace, but also because it is an extraordinary and unprecedented measure not equalled by anything faced by any of us before.
To be honest it feels like we are in a reality show based on one of the more scary science fiction movies.
Getting To Know You
The silver lining in this gloomy cloud, is that we are all going to get reaquatinted to some deep level with our family members with whom we will be sharing the home space for long hours for a month or more.
Blogtastic Opportunity
Of course, it also has to be recognised that the opportunity to apply more effort, to getting that content written and published, that will put my 3 websites in such a position that they can blossom when we come out of the other side of this tunnel, is undoubtedly the light at the end of that tunnel.
When the world gives you lemons you just need to make lemonade!
Stay Safe
As I now plan my keyword research for the next month, I wish you all good night from New Zealand, and ask that you stay safe and look after yourselves and your families and friends whatever situation you face in your own countries tonight or this morning.

Absolutely agree its like a reality show ! You cannot leave your homes at all? If so, I fully concur!
You may find some reassurance with the second of my blogs on my site:

Ha ha ! One of my 4 daughters, he 19 year old, threatened to vote me off when we had the family conference around the dinner table last night. She was joking........I think π§
I would feel exactly as you do if I was put in the same situation. Currently, we are able to continue working with many protective measures put in place that were recommended by the CDC here in the US.
Take care and cheers to you on the time spent with your family and the content you will now will be getting done on your website.
I wish you well,
Bob
I know those mixed feelings knowing it is the right decision, but not seeing a light at the end of this dark tunnel and not being able to get out. I live in Portugal (Europe) and we are also in a semi-lockdown since last saturday, but believe it will be a total lockdown really soon. My wife works in a pharmacy and must go to work, so I'm staying at home with my 2 years old daughter so even working on my side hustles and also working for my job is not being easy.
Let's hope for the best and everybody stay safe!
Be positive buddy there will be an end to it though it may be some time away. Reach out if you need help or just a chat π§
