Hi everyone!

My questions got lost in the chat so I thought I'd ask here. So far with my website I've really stuck with not choosing keywords that were below 40 avg vis

If you have a topic you want to write about, you don't have to find a specific keyword to use or you can disagree with what the keyword tool says. There are many instances where keywords are not listed in tools, but are searchable, and can get traffic. If you think it's relevant to your audience, write the article using typical SEO as shown in the WA training and it could be a great traffic source that other people haven't discovered yet because they're stuck looking at keyword tools all day :)

For sure. I've been so stuck on going to Jaxxy every time to use solid low-hanging keywords. But I also LOVE to write. It's part of what I studied in school.

Thanks for these articles, Nathaniell! :)

I am more interested in the competition and the lowest scores there.

Keep this in mind, if you target 40 visitors per month, we will use this as an example. Write 10 articles brings in 400 visitors for that keyword or keyword phrase. Content that is unique and well written will draw you endless amounts of traffic, and yes low hanging fruit keywords work well, use the long streams—less competition.

Thank you, Joseph! I'm going to give it a shot with this low-er hanging keyword just to experiment and see what happens. You know know!

Like you I avoid them but right now im using one. I remind myself that an article can actually rank for several keywords. Just because I chose one doesn't mean that will be the only one. So using a few that's below 40 is not so bad.

Exactly! I never even think to check for other keywords just for fun. I'm still pretty new :)

Plus, this will be a good experiment!

Well I when you write your post there will be many words in it that it will be able to rank for so I wouldn't worry about it

I have used low ones when I have been stuck and they have been indexed. As Warren said below, you just never know.

So true, and I feel really good about what I've written so far! Thank you!

your welcome
