Flawed but I’m real
We are flawed yet real people. There is nothing in our minds and bodies made to perfection. Doing and saying things right are ideal but we make faulty decisions. Even the trees, plants, and animals have some type of flaw in them. We live in a corrupted world. There is always good and evil present and we can't let down our guard. Leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King strived to find love and peace among people of different races and cultures and for them to live together without causing division. We wrote and made a speech on the subject called "I Had A Dream." It's been over forty years since Dr. King's passing and yet we still struggle to find acceptance, unity, peace and love in this world. People look to find perfection in their parents, brothers and sisters, uncles and aunts, friends, businesses, and world governments and none of them are perfect. Many people tend to call and judge others by saying "stupid" or curse words but we must watch what comes inside our thoughts and what words slip out of our mouths. It I is hard to accept the fact we are flawed human beings. Why judge other people who's race, culture and lifestyle are different or has done something wrong when we do wrong ourselves. We must look inward and search for any flaws we may have before we point the finger at other people. Because we are flawed we must strive to do right, for self, for others, and especially to be role models to children who are particularly sensitive to these images. When children do wrong, let's not get too angry but admonish them and still love them. Adults and children are flawed but they are real.

Knowing your flaws I think are important, as if we don't know, you can't do anything to fix it.
I am 47 years old and I have over 40 years of put downs and criticisms by friends and family, who are far from perfect. Drug use, alcoholism and other addictions and they come down on me for what they call indiscretions. I didnt make a lot of mistakes in my youth. I didnt make out with a man until I was over 21. I had to struggle and Im still struggling.
Gwendolyn,
Then it could be time to break free of all of that if possible. I've had a challenging life as well, but what others think of me is not even a concern for me anymore.
If you need someone to talk with more about this please let me know.
We all deserve to be happy on a daily basis if possible.

Very nice post, Gwen! We are all flawed in some way, so no worries here!
