Reaching out to Fellow Aussies
Hi
I know there are a number of fellow Aussies here, just wondering who and where are you?
I am in Queensland and have been living in the Noosa area for 20+ years now. In case you are wondering I asked Image Studio for a typical Australian scene to use as a cover photo.
Cheers
Geoff

Hi Andre I guessed you may have been as I saw an Image of you Kyle generated relaxing at Bondi. Thanks for responding here.
Actually lived in West Aus for about 5 years 1980 to beginning 1985 when I transferred to Queensland.. Had 3 years in Perth (Rossmoyne adjacent to the Leach Hwy, and 2 years in Karratha. Never did drive the Nullabor but did the drive from Perth to Karratha a couple of times and Karratha to Broome once for a holiday.
Cheers for now
Geoff

Hello Geoff
I live in Queensland to. I live in the South Burnett region and I just love the countryside.
I wouldn't give it up for anything. There are many fellow Aussies here on WA so I'm sure you'll make many meaningful connections here on the platform.
I wish you all the best going forward. All the best to your success.
Regards
Timothy
Hi Timothy, thanks for responding, great to meet you.
I lived in Kingaroy from Feb 1985 to July 1996 looking after IT at the coal mine. Loved it there but had to move on career wise.
Hello Geoff
You're welcome. It's great to meet you to.
I never mentioned the town I live in so can I ask how did you know I live in Kingaroy?
It's a great place and I love living here to. I won't ever be moving away from the countryside.
I wish you all the best going forward. All the best to your success.
Regards
Timothy
Hi Timothy, I didn't assume you lived in Kingaroy, you mentioned the South Burnett region and having lived in the South Burnett myself I mentioned Kingaroy being the town I lived in. I have a very vague recollection of the name Balla from that time but I do not recall in what context. My son was born in Kingaroy and both my son and daughter attended school there. I had a strong connection with the Golf Club and also was assistant coach to under 7's and 9's Red Ants where my son and Berwick Barnes were team mates.
Cheers
Hello Geoff
Thank you for confirming. I thought that might be the case but I just wanted to make sure.
It's great that you have heard of the surname Balla before and you may have met someone from my family during the time you lived here in Kingaroy.
I was born in 1998 in Townsville and my mum and I moved to Kingaroy in 1999 when I was 15 months old.
We have lived here in Kingaroy ever since. I have no intention of ever leaving Kingaroy.
There is nothing like the countryside and it wouldn't be the same living anywhere.
Thank you again for confirming things. I hope everything is going well for you with your online business.
If you ever need a hand with anything or if you have any questions feel free to reach out anytime. I will be more than happy to help you out.
I wish you all the best going forward. All the best to your success.
Regards
Timothy
