One Year with WA and two milestones achieved
I've been a Wealthy Affiliate just over one year now, and loving everything about it.
The other achievement is becoming certified in the new Comments section after providing 50 comments in one month. I really learned a lot about a whole range of niches. There are some fantastic websites in WA.
My WA ranking also jumped from about 2000 up to 300 in the last couple of weeks, I don't know if the comments certification is responsible for that.
In that one year my website now has 58 posts, so I have averaged about one a week. I need to do lots of research for each post, so I've never been able to do more than that. I work a full time job, so everything is done late at night.
About 20 of those posts rank on page one of a google search, and I'm getting about 50-100 visits a day, which isn't a lot, but it's steadily increasing. About eight of those page ones are review pages. The rest are 'How To' and info pages just for enjoyable reading.
I still have not had any sales, so I figure if they're ranking well, with good traffic, then I need to tweak the posts and make improvements, which is what I've done. I'm constantly going back over old posts and refining them when I learn something new.
I feel this next year things are about to take off, because I've changed my strategy now. I came across a training by dylanrieger called 'How to create a 6 Figure Website'. A lot of you would have read it.
I was totally inspired. His strategy is to do 'Best Of' posts, eg 10 Best....2018. Rather than doing a single review on one product with 1000 words, do 300 words each on 10 products with 3000 words total. Larger posts rank well with google also.
Since following this strategy I have done 3 'Best Of' posts, one has gone straight to page one number 2 in just 3 days since publishing! It works! The other 2 are on page 2.
So from now on I'll be concentrating on a lot more of those 'Best Of', plus 'How To/Info posts.
I'm loving the training here at WA, especially the live weekly trainings by Magistudios. Can't wait to see what the next year brings.
