WordPress Importing Issues

So after a few months of unemployment, I'm back and in full swing! I had to cancel my WA Premium membership and just before my website was deleted from WA hosting, I made a backup.
Although, when I tried to import my XML backup file, I got errors regarding the media files! How frustrating - I can see my blog posts but all other things are missing, like affiliate links, banners, theme, custom menus etc. It doesn't even look like the same site anymore.
I need some urgent help!
Did I perhaps do something wrong?

Sadly the XML export feature only exports the content.
Images, themes, plugins and settings are lost unless you can locate another backup or support has a backup still available.
If you're talking about the site mydailyselfmotivation.com it's redirecting the URL to h132.direct.mydailyselfmotivation.com so the images aren't going to work.
You need to create support ticket and ask them to have a look into this for you.
So I guess then I'll have to rebuild what took me months to do :( Thanks for the reply. You reckon though that I could ask WordPress support for a backup?

Ask them to check why the URL redirects and if you still have copy of images etc.
