What happened to my rankings?
Ok, so I've thinking about this for a while now but need some insight. Let me first explain some history.
When I first created my site, it didn't take me long to get ranked on Google. Shortly after that I was on page one and then I got to number one. I was ranked there for a long time under the keyword "daily self motivation".
Then what happened was my hosting with WA stopped and so, no more website. I get my site back up again but during the process, lost much of my content such as images and theme etc. This took me a few months to get back to where I wanted to be but along with that went my number one spot.
Since then, I've been doing a lot, such as blogging regularly (only lately though). Strangely, most of my recent blogs are ranking well with Google but my site itself has dropped of the first 15 pages at least. Who knows, I could be on page 100!
I also ranked on page one for "free motivational ebooks" but that has also disappeared from Google!
Can anyone help me out here? I can probably guess where I went wrong but how do I get back onto page one? How do I fix this?
Perhaps this post will help others - to your success!

I've been back up for a while now, many months (maybe even a year) and a few blogs later. I understand that it takes time but surely not that long!?
I wouldn't have thought so. Are you posting regularly? Do you do KW research? Do you share on Social Media?
Yes, yes and yes :) My ranking on blogs is not an issue. My site itself (home page) is not at number one anymore, as it was. Other pages like the ebooks page is off the radar too...

if you have a blog roll on your homepage have you tried adding categories to help with rankings, perhaps check your keywords as they do change eventually and drop off the radar
