Goal achieved - 1000 unique visitors!

When I started here at WA, I had a goal. In fact, I had a few goals and still do! One of my initial goals was regarding traffic. I wanted to get a certain number of visitors per month. I wanted a certain amount of traffic.

Well, after checking my Analytics account recently, I found that I had achieved my goal - I got 1000 unique visitors coming to my website!! Now, this might sound like very little to some super-affiliates here but this is a major milestone for me! As I've mentioned previously, I dont measure success with how much money I've made. And honestly, I haven't made a penny yet! This amount of traffic is MY success (so far).

It has taken me slightly over a year to get. Although, I haven't been working at it as much as I could have - I'm sure I could've done it in six months. I used my time in the evenings and on weekends, because I have a family to look after and a full-time job, so time was limited (and still is). I do what I can, when I can.

You might notice that the second half of September had much more traffic, on average. This was largely due to (I believe) the change in my theme and overall feel of the website. I completely revamped the look and feel and also added some more links/banners etc. So, yes, it does make a difference! Make sure that your site is visually appealing and not chasing potential customers away.

I hope to increase this dramatically over the next few months and of course, start seeing the coins rolling in! That's what I want to focus on now, the money aspect. Surely, with this amount of traffic, I should be making a sale, or so I would have thought! But I guess that's another story all together. As the training here at WA says, get the traffic first!
