My First Affiliate Money!

Hi WA! this is going to be a very brief post. But I wanted to share my little tiny success. I checked my Amazon associates account, and found that someone actually clicked through one of my blog posts to purchase something giving me my very first affiliate commission of $6.93!

It’s not much of course and I can’t even say it’s mine yet because it doesn’t meet the threshold for Amazon to payout. But, it is significant because I have been doing my best to follow the training here at WA, making sure I do everything as prescribed. And it’s working!

I will keep plowing through the training and making notes so that I have a good process developed. And in time, I hope this little drip of cash will grow into a steady stream of income.

I have struggled a lot with “shiny object syndrome” and I am certain I would have been more successful by now had I stayed on course with the training exactly as it is presented.

I read a book recently Called “The One Thing” by Jay Papasan and Gary Keller. I found it extremely helpful as a way to structure my daily work habits. I know how many voices are screaming for your attention when you’re trying to start something new in life. This book gives you a good process to ignore all the noise and stick to one thing. It complements Kyle’s teaching about only working on one project at a time nicely.
