Awesome Jaaxy and WA Keyword Tool Trick
Here's a little trick I discovered that works great - just want to make sure everyone doesn't forget to do this!
I use Jaaxy all the time and LOVE it - but lately I'm been using it more and more in conjunction with the WA Keyword tool as well; I'll show you why.
Jaaxy Pro will give you a total of 30 results per search (that's all unless you use Enterprise), with no ability to sort.
WA Keyword Tool also gives you 30 results per search - unless you ... read on ...
Just as an example, I'll use the keyword "cape cod" in Jaaxy.
...
Of the 30 results displayed, there are only 5 keywords that have "traffic" over 100.
If I take that same keyword and plug it into the WA Keyword Tool it will also display the same 30 results as Jaaxy did in the same fashion.
What I do next gives (depending on the keyword) 20X the total results - maybe more! (and it gives me 19 searches with traffic over 100 vs 6 - and probably a couple hundred total results).
In WA your primary keyword will be the one at the top. Simply click "Dig" for that keyword, then click on "Traffic" to sort them (click traffic twice to have it display most to less).
Voila!
I think the main point here is to remember to SORT (all columns will sort) and DIG - it can give some great results.
As you can see, I now have a whole boat-load of higher traffic keywords to think about.
I can't believe I didn't discover this sooner!
... just wanted to share this because it has given me some great keywords for my sites.
UPDATE: I've been playing around a lot today with the WA Keyword tool, and I have found some terrific keywords with a lot of traffic and virtually no competition.
... sometimes I've noticed a fluctuation in the number of results the WA tool will give, but the results have been great!
Just remember to SORT & DIG & SORT - and of course check the Competition - happy keyword hunting!
