Balancing Act...

I'm not going to lament and give the same old sob story we've probably all heard and many of us have experienced first hand, but I would like to share my thoughts concerning maintaining one career while building another.

I am a teacher. I love my career. I enjoy my students (high school freshmen), the school atmosphere, and my subject. Right now, I don't have any plans to change that part of my life. That being said, today we returned to school after our Christmas break, and just like that I realized that I am returning to the balancing act of maintaining and working hard to give my students my best while continuing to improve and invest in myself and my family with WA.

Everyone gets the same 24 hours in a day, and I know I'm not the only one who goes to bed exhausted at the end of each one. Nevertheless, I'm eager to continue my adventure at WA, even if it's just a few small advances each day. Hopefully it will all add up to something great.

So, to all my WA buds out there who are cheerfully performing their own amazing feats of time management, hang in there with me. We'll be better for the experience and should get a good return on the investment we make in ourselves.

Best wishes,

Ginger

Good for you Ginger. The very best of luck for 2014.

Thanks....same to you!

You have a great attitude.
I really like how you said "Get a good return on the investment we make in ourselves."
So true. :)

Hello Ginger! Yep, two things we can count on. No more than 24 hours a day we can get. And we can't take our money with us when we die!

So true!
