From the Mouths of Babes
For those of you who are not aware, I am one of the luckiest guys in the world. Not because I won a lottery, or have been bestowed with a tremendous amount of wealth (not in the typical sense anyway), but because I have been blessed with an amazing child. I am not sure if all parents feel this way (although I hope so), but I am in love with my son and being a dad. As I told him two nights ago, he is the greatest gift my wife and I have ever received.
I hope I didn't bore you too much with my feelings of being a dad, but now the stage is set. I often wonder what to blog about but this evening my 4 year old, pictured above, made a profound statement by asking "Daddy why do you have to work so much all day?, You work and sleep, work and sleep, work and sleep all the time. Why, why, why? I don't understand".
After I dried my eyes and picked my jaw up off the floor... I laughed and told my him that he made a very smart observation. "Daddy does work a lot, gets in late, and puts you to bed shortly after I come home". This is my life. I am amazed at his comprehension of my routine, and also saddened that it upset him. I do not want my life to continue this way, which is why I am here amongst all of you fine people.
I am very fortunate to have a beautiful family, and grateful for the potential WA has given me to spend more time with them. Thank you all. Much success to everyone.
Glenn

Thanks for sharing your story here today, Glen.
Children are a gift, a special treasure, and sometimes have wisdom way ahead of their age.
They grow up so quickly, enjoy the journey.
We wish you every success here in the WA network and you desire to make a difference for your family.
All the best.
Darren & Nicola :)
