Comments, Comments and more Comments!

People are always commenting on everything. A beautiful muscle car goes speeding by and everyone, well mostly males, immediately start with their Wows, Cools and 'I Want One'. Are they making criticisms, positive or negative? Maybe, but what they all are doing, is commenting! We're always commenting about everything.

Did you ever think about all the commenting you do in a normal day of interacting with your family or your fellow man? How about first thing in the morning? You get up early, while your spouse is still sleeping. So you go to the kitchen, make a cup of joe and prepare to greet the day. Eventually your spouse appears and you greet her/him with "Good Morning". You think "Good Morning" is just a statement, and it is, but it's also a comment. You're commenting on morning, which you hope or think it's good or will be.

There are some individuals that are constantly commenting. They just can't stop. They spend hours surfing the internet. They'll stop and read many websites. At the end of many of these websites there will be a box where you can leave comments pertaining to what you have just seen or read. Many times the author will affix their name to their site and actually ask for comments!

What kind of comments do you think they want? Is your site pretty? Is my site interesting? Can you tell if English is my primary language? Should I only post negative critism? What about constructive critism? Maybe I should comment about their name - why in the world did your parents name you Humperdinck?

I think commenting about a website or anything someone has created or said, should be short and sweet. It can be either positive or negative, whatever the commentor desires.

Just because the author asks for comments, should you? Ya, who cares. I'm bored and I'm not going to comment anymore!

Cheers!

David S. Paul ...we keep trying...

Liking is easy. Sharing - still working on that one. Comments? Now that's where I shine.

It's all good...

Hi Paul, I have read your responses to other members. I want to give you some reassurance, just remember we all have made errors and needed help. It isn't a time based training, take as long as you like and you will get there eventually. I have been here since March and still have a great deal to learn. I am plodding on though.
Don't stress and don't quit. You Will get there.
Regards
Wilson

Slow down, take a few deep breaths, forget about it for as long as you need, and completely reset yourself. When you are ready come back and re-attack the problem fresh.
