Yesterday in church our Pastor gave an interesting sermon. In summary he shared some Rules to live by. I thought it was so simple but so powerful. If you only we all could live like this we would have more harmony and peace in the world.

I thought it was worth a share.

Rule 1. Do no harm

Before you speak or act always consider if it will do any harm -then rethink it. Make sure your words and actions cause no harm to others, yourself or the planet. The challenge here is to think before I speak or act. I must consider the impact.

Rule 2. Do good

Think of creative ways of making a positive impact. Reminds me that we are not merely put here on earth to be consumers but to be contributors. So herein lies the challenge. What good can I do today?

Rule 3. Always stay in love with God

This sums it up for me. If I love God then I will honor Him by making sure I do no harm and always seek rather to do good. Loving my neighbor as myself. So in fact LOVE sums it up.

Three very simple rules to live by but powerful in its application.
