Oh my goodness. I've been away for so long. Work and life shouldn't get in the way, but it does. Not a good sign for someone who wants to succeed in this business. I guess I'm just a bit frustrated with the slow pace at which this process is working for me right now, which screams to me that I have to get back on track with the training. I just posted an article on my site's blog entitled: "Internet Training. What's It Worth To You?" I'd really appreciat

I know that this is a business forum but I felt compelled to write this post about today's events. I want to send prayers and condolences to all of the families who lost loved ones on the Malaysia Airlines flight that went down in the Ukraine today. As the finger pointing goes on as to who is behind this horrid event, I think we all bear the grief for those innocent civilians that have lost their lives in the midsts of the angry fighting that continues to work on braking up the Ukraine. I don't
I was feeling pretty desperate and needing to get some money coming in so I could afford my monthly WA fee and pay my bills while I work to get my WA blog making money. I had read an article that talked about being specific about what I wanted, which was pretty much just being happy doing what I needed to do to earn money, and putting it out to the universe asking for the help I needed. Sounds strange, I know, but you have to understand the law of attraction in order to grasp this concept. I'm
I just responded to someone who was having an issue with finding keywords for their niche. I wanted to share my response because I think there is something we all need to understand about this process. Some of you may already get this, but for newbies like me, this definitely was an ahaaa moment and provided a different and important perspective on the strategy we use for approaching our niches. My answer: I just did an article on my website about finding your niche and learned something very i
What a journey. There is so much to learn and do that sometimes I get overwhelmed and can't get out of my own way. I've lagged a bit getting my website built out and find it frustrating that I'm having a challenge staying on point and making sure I have everything on my site that I need to get exposure and activity. I could use some advice, suggestions, directions about my site .... whatever you want to toss out. I know I have to get some illustrations up, and that is a challenge. I'm not sure

Hi All, This is a quick shout out to everyone about Google Panda 4.0 the latest and greatest update from Google. According to this article, it looks like they will be working in favor of the smaller affiliate marketers. This is a break for us. Cheers. Ginger
I was doing some research today for keywords and came across an article about the FTC requirements for disclaimer information that needs to be on every affiliate marketer's website. This disclaimer goes beyond the Privacy Policy Kyle recommends we include on our sites. I want to thank Michelle for her post and her excellent instructions for getting our sites FTC compliant. Here's the link to the site that origin
This is going to be short and sweet. Woo Hoo!!!! I'm on page two of Google for the search term "How to Succeed at Affiliate Marketing" ... my website name. Now what do I do? How do I work my way up? How do I get my articles ranking better? Anyone want to go check it out and see if you come up with the same thing and if I need to jazz up the description a bit.
When I started here at WA, I was overwhelmed. There was so much great information I wanted to explore immediately. Luckily I started to network with some seasoned community members who told me to take one step at a time. Excellent advice that keeps me focused and on track, well, most of the time. Learning is a process and I quickly found that mentoring other community members is an important part of that process. Lately, I've been actively answering questions in various discussions. I have limi
Oh my goodness, it is so easy to get sucked into reading and responding to all the notifications. So much great information is being shared that it is a real part of the learning process. That being said, however, it's important to know when to pull the plug and get back to work on why I'm here in the first place. Unfortunately, I can be a real procrastinator. Not a good thing when you're trying to get a business going with lofty goals looming on the horizon. I don't know, maybe I'm ADD when it
