Venting Turned Into a Website
Frustration got the better of me the other day. I have tried so many programs. I have lost so much money trying so many programs. I have managed to recover some of the money I have lost, but I am still out...I'm too embarrassed to say, but it's in the 4-figures.
I remember the day I discovered Wealthy Affiliate. The skeptic in me after being scammed so many times was alive and well, but I gave it a try. And I never left! The value of what is provided here is unsurpassed by any other online business program out there.
I have continued to look into other programs. The latest has been Physical Profits and Amazing Selling Machine. I used to be a huge fan of Anik Singal, but lately I feel he has been taken over by greed and lost sight of his original intention of actually helping real people change their lives. Programs are getting more and more expensive. If I had $3500 laying around to spend on another online marketing scheme, perhaps I wouldn't be so desperately searching for another way to bring in money! All I see now is the rich getting richer. It is frustrating to listen to these people, who are already wealthy, go on and on about this this wonderful money making opportunitiy that costs $3500! I left a comment on one of the videos, mentioning how I wish the program was more affordable.
Admin Response, "Can you afford not to?"
Me: "Sure. If I forgo paying my mortgage for 4 months, risking leaving me, my 3 kids, son-in-law, and granddaughter homeless."
I have been slowly and steadily building my site and building a solid foundation for a business here. All I can say is, all roads keep leading back to Wealthy Affiliate. And my venting and frustration has led to another website: www.scamspotter.org
What started as venting I think will turn into a site promoting WA!

I haven't seen Anik around for awhile. His upsales are expensive, too. You don't need him. You need to let people know what a shark he is. All the best to you in your new venture.

Sounds good, but be aware it's a pretty crowded niche. That just goes to show that gazillions have been scammed. My site is realmoneynoscams.com which DOES spot scams, but also focuses on honest opps, direct sales and a myriad of ways to make money at home. I'm sorry you got that snarky answer. Some people have a lot of nerve, especially when they're talking about YOUR money. SHEESH Good Luck!
I just wanted a forum to vent. For the price of a domain name, it was worth it. I will have to check out your site :) I'm tired of sitting wasting time listening to webinars where they keep patting themselves on the back, selling you something, and not giving much information. Sometimes you get what you pay for with so-called 'free training'.

In essence, almost every one of these sharks plays the same game with minor variations. They have a "system"; it is hot, unique, and they are making a lot of money with it. They don't come right out and say it, but believe you me they have studied how to market it, and the implied message is that it is EASY and you are missing out. Truth is, to be successful in this game, you have to be willing to follow their methods which WILL involve dubious ethics and techniques. You have to be willing to fleece other people out of their money so you benefit, leaving them with nothing of value other than the knowledge that they too could cheat others out of money so they can get ahead. All in all, a very crappy system.
You are right. Too bad so many of us have to find out the hard way. That's why i'm happy to be here. Internet marketing done right by honest ethical people.
Seems like experience is the best and sometimes the only teacher that we learn from. I think I have a PHD by now from the famed school of Hard Knocks...LOL!
