A neat infographic for amplifying your Twitter engagement
I came across a nice infographic that demonstrates how simple adjustments to the length and timing of your Tweets can boost audience engagement. For instance:
- Best days to tweet (in terms of number of retweets received) are Saturdays and Sundays
- Asking your audience to retweet increases the number of retweets from 10 to 23 times
- Best time to tweet is from 8AM to 7PM
Here's the link to the infographic, feel free to study it :) hope it's useful to someone.
Thanks guys for reading!

Hi Gina. When you said 8am to 7pm, which time zone did you have in mind? I have followers in the USA, Holland, Costa Rica and France. When do I tweet? Help!
Great question! I actually thought it was the time relative to your audience, so personally I follow the bulk of my audience.. eg. Most of my followers are in the US so I follow the US time. I feel it might be best for you to play around with your tweets a little though, if you have a more diverse audience and can't tell where most of them are from. I would suggest posting at different timings according to the US, Holland, Costa Rica and France clock, and keeping track of the engagement level. I still have relatively few followers so I haven't implemented any large scale experiments yet. Hope someone will help me assess my suggestion!

That is really interesting, the timings of course would have to be relative to the market you are targeting, the timezone.
Thank you!
